• Barkeepers’ friend, a favorite by tavern owners in the late 1800s, used to polish brass railing which was commonly seen in taverns during this time. It is a favorite of musicians, professional cleaners, restaurant owners, homeowners, and hobbyists worldwide. It has various uses including to remove rust, tea stains, and other pot stains. Be careful to not use on marble, silver, or pewter. If you want to remove hardwater stains from glass and windows, barkeeper’s friend is where you shall look.
  • Krud Kutter, it’s a go to for cleaning grease in the kitchen. It can also be used for glass, mirrors, and vinyl flooring just make sure to dilute with water first. Krud Kutter can even take up scuff marks on floors. It’s able to remove grease and mildew without the harsh chemicals found in Clorox. You can scrub a grill, glass, non-stick pans, wood, granite just to name a few. The Scrub Daddy Power Pasteis a chemical-free polishing compound. To use this product swirl a dampened scrub mommy into the paste. Apply the foam to grease, mildew or limescale stained surfaces.
  • Dawn Power Wash Dish Spray- What I really love about Dawn Powerwash Dish Spray is that unlike other dish soaps it doesn’t need to create bubbles. The Powerwash bottle activates suds by spraying. All you need to do is spray, wipe, and rinse. For really dirty dishes, spray Dawn Powerwash Dish Spray and let it sit. For slightly dirty, spray the soap on and wash as normal.
  • Mr. Clean Magic Erasers- With water alone, this eraser is universally able to clean so many surfaces. A common go to is marks on walls. It canefficiently clean a shower or tub. Mr. Clean Magic Eraser is also able to clean up grease, power out dirt and grime from light switches, and even take crayon off walls.
  • Swiffer Sweeper Dry and Wet- A great compact tool for mopping hard to reach surfaces, like under beds and around objects. I would pair it with a rag that is dipped in a bucket of water and lavender Fabuloso for a final more thorough clean. The Sweeper Dry and Wet are great for an introduction clean, the swiffer dry cloths do well for wiping down construction dust on walls. The wet cloths do well for quick clean-up of spills in the kitchen. Even though this is the favorite the Swiffer itself is by far the most useful as its compact and can easily fit in closets and you can add your own cloth to the bottom of the Swiffer.

  • Windex- What I love most about Windex is that it can do a lot more than clean windows. It can clean microfiber upholstery, clean crystal (do not use on painted or tinted pieces), it can be used to clean children’s toys, counter tops, grease, as well as clean the car.
  • Clorox Cleaner Cleanup plus Bleach- Not only is it a surface cleaner but it is also a disinfectant. In combination with Mr. Clean Magic Eraser this team of two can quickly take up stains in bathtubs. It is great to remove caked on grease and services as reliable solution for tough residue when deep cleaning
